It is now time to begin planning for the 2020-21 school year. We are opening enrollment exclusively to currently enrolled families beginning Wednesday, February 12th until Thursday, February 20th. If you are enrolling an additional child, please notify the office by tomorrow afternoon so that we can attached the form to your packet. We plan to hand out the packets on Wednesday. If your child attends Aftercare, please come by the front office Wednesday afternoon to get your packet when you pick up your child.
Please review each form carefully. Note the updated tuition rates. Also, if you pay in ten monthly installments, the first tuition payment will be due on July 1 and the last payment April 1. This eliminates the problem of getting tuition payments in on time for May graduations.
The registration fee for currently enrolled families will remain the same ($150 per student with a $300 family maximum) if received by February 20th. (The registration fee may be postdated to March 1 if necessary, but it needs to be received with the paperwork by February 20th in order to guarantee a spot in the class.) On February 21st the registration fee increases to $175 with a $400 family maximum.) Registration checks should be made out separately from any current school year payment. Please attach your check to the registration forms. Forms may be turned in to the office, your child’s teacher, or dropped in the payment box beside Mr. Witbeck’s office. Completed forms are a financial commitment to return for the 2020-21 school year. The administration hires teachers based on completed registration paperwork. If you are currently unsure of your plans, please refrain from completing the forms.
On February 24th we will open registration to new families. At that time, currently enrolled families will no longer have priority registration and Mr. Witbeck will begin interviewing new families to fill any available spots.
We are thankful that you have entrusted your student(s) to us this year. The Lord continues to bless SCS. This year we have five high school students who scored between 28-31 on their ACT, Alisha Carino received an award from the DAR, Evelyn Smith placed third alternate in the Distinguished Young Women competition, two seniors have signed to play college ball (Judah Buckner-baseball and Kristina Eaves-basketball), and the girls basketball team won the Grace Christian tournament this past weekend. All glory be to God!
