Each year students in grades 1-10 take national achievement tests. These tests include the following: reading, language, math, science, history, and Bible. SCS scores are compared with other students in the United States, and parents are given a copy of the results. Students in 11th grade take the PSAT (national merit qualifying test). Students in 11th-12th grade take the ACT which is required for graduation from Starkville Christian School.
SCS graduates are and have attended universities in the state of Mississippi as well as out-of-state. Graduates receive diplomas and transcripts. They have received numerous scholarships, been admitted to the honor's college at MSU, earned master's degrees, and played NCAA sports. Please be aware that no SCS graduate has been required to take the GED in order to be admitted to college.
