CHRISTMAS PROGRAM:  Grades 1-5 will be performing their Christmas program on Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 p.m.  Actors are to arrive at 6:30 wearing the clothes Dr. Rowan has assigned. All other students should arrive at the Sportsplex no later than 6:40p.m. dressed in their Christmas(Sunday) clothes. 


SEMESTER EXAMSStudents will be taking semester exams on December 18th-20th. These days will be early dismissal days. K4-6th grade will be dismissed at 11:00 and grades 7-12 will be dismissed at 11:30No lunch or Aftercare will be provided on those days.


SCS is a 501c3 tax exempt organization; therefore, any donations  made to the school are tax deductible. (Tuition is not considered a donation.) Box tops/Kroger rewards/Amazon Smile are a great way to contribute.  We have received a total of $15,938 since we began participating in Box-tops. Visit to find out how to participate by scanning your store receipt on products like snacks, cleaning products, beverages, cereal, school supplies etc.                          


KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM: You can earn rewards for SCS by matching your Kroger card with the school.

  2. If you do not have an online Kroger account, you will need to register (button at the top right) first.
  3. If you have an account, sign in (button in top left)
  4. Once signed in, click the word “Community”.
  5. Select “Community Rewards”.
  6. Select the “Enroll Now’ button.
  7. Type in “Starkville Christian School
  8. Select Starkville Christian School once it appears.


Chapel Attire for Girls:  Girls in grades 7-12 may wear pants for chapel instead of their skirts during the cold weather months of December-February.  (Reminder: these must not be tight-fitting.) 


Outerwear worn in the classroom:  Solid navy, forest green, or white crew neck, v-neck, vest, or cardigans sweaters with the SCS logo may be worn.  Also, team SCS jackets, and letter jackets may be worn.  No hooded sweatshirts or items without the SCS logo may be worn in class.  Please make sure that you have your child’s name on all jackets and sweatshirts worn to school.
